Alright, guys, so I wanted to figure out how to body slam in UFC 4. I’ve seen some crazy slams online, and I was like, “I gotta learn that!” So, here’s how my journey went down.
First Steps: The Clinch
First things first, I realized you can’t just run up and body slam someone. Gotta get into a clinch first. So, I hopped into practice mode and started messing around. I figured out that getting close to my opponent and flicking the right stick seemed to work. I practiced this a bunch, just clinching, breaking away, clinching again. Gotta get that muscle memory down, you know?
Trying Different Clinch Positions
Then I noticed there are, like, different types of clinches. I saw single under, double under, all that stuff. I spent some time just trying to transition between these. Some are easier to get into than others. The double under, man, that one felt important for slams, but it was tricky to get to.
The Actual Slam Attempt
Okay, so I’m in the clinch, usually the single collar tie or the double under, and I’m thinking, “Now what?” I started pressing all the buttons, haha. No luck. Then I remembered seeing something about the left trigger and right bumper, so I combined that with A. And boom! Body slam!. It was a bit awkward at first, timing-wise, but I started getting the hang of it.
Experiment and repeat
After that body slam.I try more clinch positions, and find out that in the double under clinch, pressing left trigger and A can pick up my *’s so cool!
Practice, Practice, Practice
- Clinch:Get that right stick flick down.
- Different positionsFamiliar with single collar tie or the double under.
- The Slamuse the right combination.
Honestly, it took a good chunk of time just messing around in practice mode. But it was worth it. Now I can pull off some pretty sweet body slams. Still working on the timing in real fights, but hey, it’s a process, right? Keep practicing, and you’ll be slamming dudes in no time!
