Alright, so I wanted to check out the Knicks vs. Pacers game, and like always, I needed to get a feel for the odds. You know, see what the “smart money” is thinking. So, I fired up my browser and headed straight to Oddshark, ’cause that’s usually my go-to for this kind of stuff.

First, I just typed “Knicks Pacers Oddshark” into the search bar. Boom – top result, just like I expected. Clicked on that, and it took me right to the game page.
The page layout is pretty straightforward.
You got the matchup at the top, date and time, all that basic info.
Then, they dive into the odds.

- Moneyline: This is just picking who you think will win, straight up. No messing around with point spreads.
- Spread: This is where they give one team a “handicap.” Like, the Pacers might be favored by -3.5 points, meaning they have to win by 4 or more for you to win your bet.
- Total (Over/Under): This is a bet on the total combined score of both teams. Oddshark will set a number, and you bet on whether the actual score will be higher (over) or lower (under) than that.
Digging Deeper
Oddshark doesn’t just stop at the basic odds, though. They give you a whole bunch of other useful information. They showed me consensus picks – Basically, what percentage of people are betting on each side of the moneyline, spread, and total. It’s kinda like seeing which way the crowd is leaning.
I also took a look at the team records, both overall and against the spread (ATS). That ATS stat can be sneaky important, ’cause it tells you how well a team has been performing relative to expectations.
Finally I get all I want from the Oddshark, I can make my own decision about this game with all information I had.
