Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of fantasy football and figure out these ROS QB rankings. It’s that time of the season where you gotta make some tough calls, you know? Trades, waivers, all that jazz. So, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work.

First, I grabbed my laptop and headed to the couch. Gotta be comfy for this kind of deep dive. I opened up a few of my go-to fantasy football sites – the usual suspects. You know the ones I am talking about, the big-name sites.
Digging into the Data
Then, I started looking at the stats. Passing yards, touchdowns, interceptions, rushing yards…the whole nine yards. I wanted to see who’s been hot lately, and who’s been kinda…meh. You gotta look beyond just the season-long numbers, right? Recent performance is key.
Next up, I checked out the schedules. This is huge. Who’s got easy matchups coming up? Who’s facing a bunch of tough defenses? It’s all about playing the odds, my friends.
I created my notes, nothing fancy, just a place to jot down my thoughts. I started listing out the quarterbacks, grouping them into tiers. You got your top dogs, your solid starters, your risky plays, and your “maybe in a pinch” guys.
- Tier 1: The “set it and forget it” studs.
- Tier 2: Solid starters, but maybe with some matchup concerns.
- Tier 3: Guys who could boom or bust depending on the week.
- Tier 4: The desperation plays.
The Realizations
After a while staring at all this, and with a lot of coffee, I find a few things, first, some of my guys were ranked way too low.

Second, some of them was the opposite.
It took a good chunk of the afternoon, but I finally had my rankings. It’s not an exact science, of course. There’s always some guesswork involved in fantasy football. But I felt good about it. I had a plan. I knew which quarterbacks I was targeting, and which ones I was avoiding.
So, that’s my process. Nothing revolutionary, but it works for me. It’s all about putting in the time, doing the research, and trusting your gut. Now, let’s hope these rankings actually translate to some wins! Good luck out there, everyone!
