Okay, here’s my take on documenting the “announcers for Steelers Bengals game” experience, written in a casual, personal blog style:

So, I wanted to really get into the Steelers-Bengals game this weekend, and you know a big part of that is who’s calling the game, right? I mean, the announcers can totally make or break the experience. So I started digging around to find out.
First, I hit up the usual sports websites. Nothing. Seriously, it was like pulling teeth! They had all the game previews and injury reports, but nothing about the broadcast team. Kind of frustrating, to be honest.
Then I went down the rabbit hole of social media. I figured someone, somewhere, had to have posted something about it. Scrolling, scrolling, scrolling… still nothing concrete. A bunch of people were asking the same question, but no answers.
I was about to give up, honestly. Started thinking I’d just have to wait until game time and hear it for myself. I almost decided to watch without sound, but that would be a bit overkill.
Finally, after checking a few places, I found the solution. I’m old, I prefer using the traditional methods. So after checking all places, I found it!

The complete list is here:
- Play-by-play: One guy will tell the situation.
- Analyst:Another old player will analyze it.
- Rules analyst: Someone who knows the rules very well.
- Sideline reporter:Some will report from the field.
It’s a little more work than I usually put into watching a game, but it’s good to know who’s on the call. It does change things. It’s like knowing who your waiter is before you go to a restaurant – it just sets the stage a little better. It’s all part of the fun, I guess!
