Alright, so the other day I was diving deep into MLB The Show and got hooked on this Conquest mode. I’d heard it was a good way to snag some decent rewards, but I was curious about the time commitment. How long was this thing really gonna take?

My First Conquest Run
I jumped in, ready to dominate the virtual baseball world. I started chipping away at the map.
- First,I spent time figuring out basic strategy.
- Then,I played many games to attack territories.
- I kept stealing fans and reinforce my own territories.
After a few hours, my eyes were starting to glaze over. The games themselves aren’t super long, you know, usually 3 innings, but there are so many of them. You’re constantly battling for territory, moving your “fans” around like little armies, and then playing these mini-games.
Time Keeps on Slippin’
I checked the clock – holy cow, I’d been playing for like four hours! And I still wasn’t done.I finally conquered the whole map!
But I did get some pretty sweet rewards at the end, so that was a plus,I * definitely took me a solid five to six hours to complete my first Conquest map.
So, Is It Worth It?
It really depends. If you’ve got a chunk of time to kill and you’re really into the game, then yeah, go for it. You’ll rack up some goodies. But if you’re short on time, maybe just tackle a smaller section of the map, or try a different game mode altogether.

Just be prepared to settle in for the long haul if you’re going for total Conquest domination!
