First Steps – What Even Is This?
First, I had to figure out what this whole Greg Button Korn Ferry deal even was. Turns out, it’s related to some leadership assessment stuff. Korn Ferry is this big company that does, like, talent management, and Greg Button is someone who works there. Probably something to do with tests or profiles, I figured.
Digging In – Finding the Right Stuff
Next, I needed to find the actual assessment, or whatever it was. I poked around the Korn Ferry website a bit. Found some stuff about leadership development, assessments, all that jazz. It wasn’t super clear at first, to be honest. I had to click around a bunch of pages, read some descriptions, until I found something that looked promising.
Getting My Hands Dirty
- I created an account on their website. You know, the usual stuff – name, email, password.
-
Then I started exploring. There are different kinds of tools, I guess, like, ways to evaluate yourself or your team. I ended up using something of theirs.
The Actual Assessment Part
Alright, so this is where it got interesting. The assessment thing, it wasn’t just, like, multiple-choice questions. It had some of those, sure, but also some scenarios. You know, “What would you do in this situation?” type stuff. I just went through it, answering as honestly as I could. No point in faking it, right?
Results and Wrap-Up
Once I was done, I got this report. It had all these charts and graphs and explanations. I read, try to make sense of it all. I saw the scores for each of them.

In short, it’s used and I got some feedback of my working performace.
So, yeah, that was my adventure with the Greg Button Korn Ferry thing. Not exactly a walk in the park, but I learned a few things along the way. Hopefully, this little rundown helps someone else out there!
