Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with some electro-themed decks in Clash Royale. I’ve been seeing a lot of Electro Giant and Electro Wizard floating around the ladder, so I figured, why not try to make a deck that utilizes as many of these electrifying cards as possible? It seemed like a fun challenge, and I was itching to see if I could make it work.
I started by throwing in the obvious choices: Electro Giant, Electro Wizard, and Electro Spirit. Those were no-brainers. Then, I figured I needed some more firepower, so I added Sparky. That thing’s a beast when it gets going, and it fit the theme perfectly.
Now, I needed a way to support these guys. Zappies seemed like a good choice for some extra zap power and defense, so they went in as well. For a win condition, I tossed in a Goblin Drill. I know, it’s not really “electro,” but it’s a strong card, and I needed something to pressure towers when the big guys weren’t on the field.
- Electro Giant
- Electro Wizard
- Electro Spirit
- Sparky
- Zappies
- Goblin Drill
For spells, I went with Tornado and Lightning. Tornado is great for clumping up troops for Sparky and the other splash damage, and Lightning can take out those pesky buildings or medium-health units that might give me trouble.
My first few games were…rough, to say the least. I got absolutely wrecked by some faster cycle decks. Turns out, my deck was way too expensive! I was constantly getting out-cycled and couldn’t keep up with the opponent’s attacks.
So, back to the drawing board. I realized I needed to make some cuts. I took out Sparky and Zappies. They were fun, but just too costly. I replaced them with Skeletons and Ice Spirit to lower my average elixir cost and help me cycle to my important cards faster.

- Electro Wizard
- Electro Spirit
- Goblin Drill
- Tornado
- Lightning
- Skeletons
- Ice Spirit
This change made a HUGE difference. I was finally able to play cards at a decent pace. I started winning a few games here and there, and my push with Electro Giant, Electro Wizard, and Goblin Drill, supported by Tornado and Lightning felt unstoppable sometimes!
The deck still wasn’t perfect, it lost a few games against decks with buildings and a lot of swarm, but I found that with good positioning and timing, I could usually overcome those challenges. After a few more games I felt I can win the game with this deck.
All in all, it was a fun experiment! I took a basic idea, tried it out, made some changes, and ended up with a pretty decent deck. It might not be the next meta-breaker, but it’s definitely a blast to play, and it taught me a lot about deck building and adapting to different situations. If you’re looking for a fun, off-meta deck to try, give this one a shot! You might be surprised at how well it can do.
