Alright, so I wanted to figure out what’s the deal with Greg Dulcich for the 2023 fantasy football season. I started digging into his performance from last year, his rookie season.
First, I looked at his overall stats. He played in 10 games. I remember he missed the first five games because of a hamstring injury, but this dude was pretty solid when he came back. I noticed he was the 27th among all tight ends in fantasy points with just 53.1. I got this number, it’s not bad, but not great either.
Then I checked out some rankings and stuff. I saw that RotoBaller has him ranked pretty low, like TE38. That’s way down there. I was thinking, maybe there’s some reason for this. So I started looking into the Broncos’ roster changes.
I saw that a couple of tight ends from last year aren’t on the team anymore. There’s this guy, Trautman, who I guess will get some playing time. But it seems like Dulcich might have a chance to be the main guy.
I also read some stuff about how tight ends can be tricky in fantasy football. Like, sometimes a guy who looks good late in the draft ends up being a total bust. But last year there were actually some good late-round tight ends. I was hoping that means that Dulcich is one of those.
My conclusion
After looking at everything, I’m thinking Dulcich is a bit of a gamble for 2023.
- He showed some promise last year, but he’s still got some things to prove.
- The low ranking makes me a little nervous, but the roster changes might open up an opportunity for him.
I’m not ready to say he’s a must-draft, but I’m also not writing him off completely. I think I need to keep an eye on him during the preseason and see how things shake out in Denver. Maybe he’ll surprise everyone and be a fantasy stud. Who knows!
